Welcome to JBSA - Fort Sam Houston Chapel

Spiritual Fitness is a vital part of any soldier's health. Sunday School, Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, Bible Studies, youth groups, Vacation Bible School and summer camping are designed to be challenging and fulfilling for soldiers and their families. Whether you are arriving for a brief stay or to live here permanently, we encourage you to visit any of our activities (see links to the left). We pray that your faith will be strengthened and that your spiritual walk will enlighten others. Our programs are open to all Active Duty, DoD Civilians, Retired, and family members regardless of where they choose to worship. This web site will give you some idea of where to begin your participation. Notice that during the summer, some activities, schedules, and locations change. If you don't find everything you are looking for, please call our main office at 210-221-5007. We are thankful to our Nation under God for providing Chaplains, Chaplain Assistants, Religious Education Specialists, Musicians and the facilities to worship in.
