BM Mission
Mission is to provide sound technical business processes, acquisition, planning, and strategies for the Fort Sam Houston Network Enterprise Center and its customers.

What We Do
  • Business Management Branch duties involve a wide range of Information Technology (IT) management activities to include Strategic Planning, Capital Planning and Investment Control, and Resource Management. Provide policy guidance to IT management, staff, and NEC customers.

  • Preparation of IT budgets; management of IT investments; and audits of IT programs. Development , execution, and monitoring the installation centralized IT budget. Negotiation, implementation, and overseeing of Inter-service Support Agreements (ISA) with NEC's customer base.

  • Logistical support and control of supplies while receiving and housing itemized equipment for NEC customers on hand receipt. Manage and maintain logistical inventory. Provide supplies and equipment for FSH NEC personnel.

  • Provide Acquisition procurement processing of project requirements for supply or services. Research and determine price fair & reasonableness. Interdepartmental collaboration to allocate and acquire appropriated funds. Maximize competition utilizing multiple sources that are technically acceptable to obtain supply and services.
