Mission:

To effectively and efficiently administer the Uniform Code of Military
Justice and federal law, producing a result that justly addresses misconduct
by Soldiers or civilians on Fort Sam Houston and supports the mission of
Fort Sam Houston units.

Services:
|
The Military Justice Division of the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate provides legal support to the Chain of Command for all matters related to maintaining good order and discipline within their units. Legal support provided by the Military Justice Division includes processing of Administrative Separations under AR 635-200 and AR 600-8-24, preparation of Article 15s pursuant to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), and prosecuting all Courts-Martial on behalf of the Command.
The Chain of Command should call their unit representative for all questions related to searches for criminal evidence, seizures of evidence, conducting criminal investigations, and honoring the rights afforded to all Soldiers under Article 31(b) of the UCMJ.
